All students in Year 7 – 8 take the following mandatory courses

• Humanities and Social Studies, Religious Education, English (Interdisciplinary Group 1)

• Mathematics

• Health and PE

• Science, Technology and ICT (Interdisciplinary Group 2)

In Year 9, the same mandatory subjects are taken, but English becomes a stand-alone subject, leaving Studies of Society and Environment and Religious Education only in Interdisciplinary Group 1.


In addition to the mandatory subjects, students from Year 7 – 9 choose form the following electives:

• Drama

• Music

• Visual and Design Arts

• Italian

• Indonesian

• Language in the Community

• Materials and Control technology
  In Year 8 and 9, students may also choose from :

• Agricultural Science

• Multimedia Arts

In the Middle School, Information Communication Technology is embedded into each subject’s curriculum.
