A balanced approach
In the senior years, the spread of assessment tasks and general workload is managed in such a way that it provides every senior boy with a properly balanced program of study, physical and social activity.
While we are proud of our students' academic achievements, we are even more proud of the calibre of the young men that walk out of our gates and into the next phase of their life. Not only are they prepared for the careers of the future, but have evolved into respectful men of good character who have both the ability to lead and the compassion to help those less fortunate.
Whether pursuing a university pathway, vocational education or immediate employment, our graduates have one thing in common; a shared journey and camaraderie that bond many of them in friendships for life. You only need to look at the strong old-scholar network to see how integral and enduring those bonds are. Whether it be business lunches, social gatherings or on the soccer, football or cricket field, our old scholars continue to enjoy those irreplacable bonds which had their foundations within the expansive grounds of Rostrevor College.
"To hear graduates speak of Year 12 as the best year of their life where they achieved their academic goals without having to exclude high levels of commitment to sport, music, community service and social connections is very affirming of our approach." Principal Frank Ranaldo
