L-R: Tom Wiseman, Lisa Zollo & David Knight

Tom Wiseman

Prior to moving to Rostrevor as a design and technology teacher, Mr Wiseman studied product design before shifting his focus to education and classroom teaching. Mr Wiseman has a strong passion for the outdoors and cycles regularly through the Adelaide Hills. His passions continue through to camping and travelling where he has just returned from backpacking through the south East Asian countries of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

Mr Wiseman's love for cycling is connected through to the Pedal Prix events where he has competed for over 13 years across Australia - most recently winning the championship series with his team at Murray bridge 2 years consecutively.

He is excited to help grow Rostrevor's Pedal Prix team and help them develop fitness, driving, skill and teamwork.

Lisa Zollo

Before becoming a teacher, Lisa studied a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide with a major in Biochemistry. She went on to study Forensic Science in Auckland, New Zealand, to further pursue her passion in Science. After completing her degree, she realised that although she loved Science, her dream was to work with children. She became a Primary School teacher and has since worked in a number of different schools both primary and secondary. Her favourite thing about being a teacher is getting to connect to her students and become part of their journey as they grow as learners and individuals, something she is looking forward to with her Year 6 class this year.

Having a strong connection to her Italian culture, Lisa is also excited to teach Italian in the Junior Years, as she believes in the importance of learning about other languages and cultures. In her spare time, you will find Lisa spending time with her nieces and nephews or playing with her adorable Labrador puppy named Dobby.

David Knight

David has come to us from Cabra Dominican College where he spent three years, first of all working as an ESO and later as a teacher of students with special needs and across Years 6-10.

Before deciding to become a teacher David was living in Far North Queensland in Port Douglas, where he worked as a scuba-diving instructor on the Great Barrier Reef, and before that, across ski resorts in Australia and the US as a snowboarding instructor.

David is very keen on sports, in particular football, having played at Athelstone for many years before and after living in QLD. He hopes to have a positive impact on the lives of all the students he comes into contact with at Rostrevor and is looking forward to helping students anyway he can.
