Scholarships & Bursaries


Please Note: The first round of Scholarship offers will generally be made by the end of Term 1 or early Term 2, the year prior to commencement.

Music Scholarship
7 to 12 (subject to vacancies in particular year levels)

Student/s with exceptional talent and capacity to enhance College music ensembles.

Auditions carried out Term 2 and Term 4 for following year.

Catherine Mary Enright Kelly CMEK (Academic) Scholarship 
Year 7 & 8

Rostrevor College is offering Academic Scholarships to students entering Year 7 or 8. These Scholarships are also open to current Rostrevor College students.

The CMEK (Academic) Scholarships are awarded on the basis of results in the ACEP exam conducted by ACER, at the discretion of the Principal.

Students must achieve above the 90th percentile in the ACEP exam conducted by ACER.  The website is updated with all details as all dates are set by ACER.

About the ACER Academic Scholarship Exam

STEM Scholarship
Year 7 to 9

Student/s with an aptitude for Science, Technology and/or Mathematics. Exceptional aptitude may be demonstrated through supporting evidence or students may be required to sit a short test. ($40 fee applies)

Students will need to have a Grade Point Average over 86, or NAPLAN / supporting evidence equivalent.

Applications close end of Term 2, testing in Term 3

Dr Bernard Cormie Senior School Scholarship
Year 10 or 11

Student/s with an aptitude for either

  • Science, Technology and/or Mathematics or

  • Humanities

Applicants will be required to sit a test. ($40 fee applies)

Students will need to have a Grade Point Average over 86, or NAPLAN / supporting evidence equivalent.

Applications close end of Term 2, testing in Term 3

Boarding
Years 8 to 12

Edmund Rice Bursary
Years 8 to 12

Often recommended by a local parish to assist students in difficult circumstances. This includes a limited number of bursaries for students who entered Australia on Humanitarian Visas.

General Bursaries
Reception to Year 12

  • School Card (Government means tested scheme for low income families) eligible families may be offered 40% remission of Tuition Fees.

  • Bursaries must be finalised by negotiation with the Principal or the Business Manager prior to the student commencing school.
