Lead excellence in pastoral care, restorative practices, and student wellbeing.

As Assistant Director of Students, you will support the strategic and operational leadership of student wellbeing, pastoral care and behaviour management across the College.

Working closely with the Director of Students and Heads of House, you will contribute to a safe, inclusive and respectful environment that promotes resilience, engagement and community.

You will play a key role in strengthening systems and practices that integrate student wellbeing with academic progress, recognising their connection to student success and outcomes.

About the role 

You will: 

  • Leading and supporting whole-school pastoral care and student wellbeing frameworks
  • Building staff capacity in behaviour management and restorative practices
  • Working closely with families and external providers to support student needs
  • Using data to monitor student wellbeing, engagement and performance
  • Supporting student leadership, engagement and key College programs and events
  • Contributing to strategic planning and the ongoing development of College culture
