Vision and Mission

The Rostrevor College Foundation is dedicated to nurturing a culture of philanthropy to uphold and advance the present and future objectives of the College. The Foundation supports the College in providing the best opportunities and environment to the young men of Rostrevor through its philanthropic and community engagement.

The Foundation provides financial support to enhance the College's facilities, student experience and to cultivate a strong sense of community. It seeks to deeply engage the wider College community, past, present and future.

Since its establishment in 1987, the Rostrevor College Foundation has raised more than $5 million and provided some outstanding facilities for our students. 

The Foundation supports the development of new and existing infrastructure by facilitating funding through collaborative endeavour strategic partnerships with donors, old collegians, and community stakeholders.

Some highlights of the work of the Foundation are:

  • 2000 - Redevelopment of the Junior School

  • 2000 - Junior School Technology Centre 
  • 2000 - Junior School Computing Centre 
  • 2000 - Out-of-School Hours Care Facility  
  • 2001 - Mary Fountain Music Centre 
  • 2002 - Memorial Avenue/Handball Courts Upgrade 
  • 2005 - Science and Technology Centre 
  • 2007 - Br Brian Clery Skills Centre 
  • 2008 - Duggan House Extension  
  • 2011 - Music Sound Recording Studio 
  • 2015 - $2 Million contribution to Stage 1 of the College's Master Building Plan, which included the Equity Hub and Ideas Centre 
  • 2017 - $1 Million contribution to support ongoing College works 
  • 2018 - A capital grant to help establish the Rostrevor Agriculture and Sustainability Centre 
  • 2021 - $1m contribution to Duggan House redevelopment 

The Foundation opens doors for young men to gain access to a Rostrevor education through the generous contributions of donors, old collegians, and community partners.

The Foundation nurtures the past, present and future Rostrevor community by fostering a sense of belonging through aiding connections, collaboration, and building of meaningful relationships.
