We understand that scholarships are important in allowing students with great promise to access a Rostrevor education, ensuring they are given every opportunity to reach their full potential. Â
As a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, it is our duty and our privilege to make a Rostrevor education accessible to Australia’s young learners. It was Blessed Edmund Rice’s mission to provide the opportunity of a quality Catholic education to as many students as possible, and we are proud to continue this legacy. Â

Rostrevor College is a proud education provider for students who are offered places in the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program (IYLP).Â
The IYLP offers scholarships and leadership opportunities to young First Nations Australians, with a focus on Indigenous youth from communities in remote areas to be able to extend their educational choices and opportunities.Â
Funded by the National Indigenous Australians Agency and The Smith Family, the IYLP provides a bridge in the gap in costs between other funding such as Abstudy. In addition, the fund may provide support to students for non-compulsory education expenses.Â
Students are encouraged to apply approximately 12 months prior to commencement by lodging an application with The Smith Family. An Enrolment Application Form for Rostrevor College must be made at the same time as the completed application to the Smith Family IYLP program.Â
Rostrevor College supports the enrolment of Firsts Nations students in conjunction with our Reconciliation Action Plan.Â
2027 Scholarship applications are now open. Applications and all supporting documents must be received by close of business Friday 1 May 2026.

The Catherine Mary Enright Kelly (CMEK) Scholarship is supported by the CMEK bequest, made to Rostrevor College at an assembly in 1959 by Mr Thomas D Kelly M.S, F.R.C.S, F.R.A.C.S, F.I.C.S.Â
Mr Kelly graduated in Rostrevor’s Honours Class of 1928, five years after the College was founded. After obtaining a medical degree, he worked in residence at a children’s hospital in Adelaide before venturing overseas to continue his studies at surgical schools in London and Dublin. Mr Kelly then worked as a surgeon for the remainder of his career, including a stint in Baghdad, becoming distinguished in his field. Mr Kelly named the bequeathment in honour of his late mother, Mrs Catherine Mary Enright Kelly, who he remembered as a great support in his life and career.
The CMEK Scholarship is awarded to a new or existing student at Rostrevor College entering Year 7 who demonstrates high achievement and outstanding academic aptitude across all aspects of College life.
Applications for 2027 are now open and close at 4.30pm on Wednesday 18 March 2026.

The Dr Bernard Cormie OAM Academic Scholarship – STEM Scholarship is named in recognition of Dr Bernard Cormie OAM who formed the inaugural Rostrevor College Scholarship Committee to manage funds for academic scholarships bequeathed by Old Collegian, Dr Thomas Kelly (’28).Â
Dr Cormie taught at Rostrevor in the 1960s before pursuing a career in medicine. He then volunteered on the Scholarship Committee for 30 years, with his two sons attending Rostrevor in the late 1980s and early 1990s. His philosophy is that education is the most significant gift that can be given to a child, and the best investment anyone can make in their life. Through his work in Scholarships, he endeavoured to give the gift of a Rostrevor education to children who might otherwise not have the financial means to attend the College.
This Scholarship is awarded to either a new or existing student at Rostrevor College entering Year 10 who demonstrates high achievement and outstanding aptitude for STEM subjects.
Applications for 2027 are now open and close at 4.30pm on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
The Rostrevor Old Collegians' Association (ROCA) Scholarship is awarded to either a new or existing student at Rostrevor College entering Year 7 or 10 who is a son and grandson of an Old Collegian to attend Rostrevor, whose family might not otherwise have the financial means to support them in doing so. Applications from students who are not the son or grandson of an Old Collegian, and who may not have the financial means to attend Rostrevor without assistance, are also welcome to apply.Â
Through the thriving Rostrevor Old Collegian network, this Scholarship reflects the College’s values of a strong focus on community and remaining connected for life.
